Hi Mark!
I emailed you a while back to request an interview with you, but I think it was while you were filming this season Shark Tank. I’m sure that you get a million emails a day, so I figured perhaps making a web page with the interview questions would be a better way to reach you.
You probably have no idea who I am and that is expected. We actually met once in Minneapolis and got our picture together (you came to our tweetup). Here it is for proof:
When we met I mentioned how the articles you wrote called Success and Motivation changed my life. It really did change my life for the better and I have used it as a pattern for how I can make myself realize my dreams. One of my passions is travel and I launched a travel blog/website last year and it’s starting to grow a decent following.
To help grow a diverse audience, I am adding a new feature to my website where I interview professionals who have travel as a major part of their lives. Since travel is a big part of your life, I thought that perhaps you might be willing to answer 7 questions for a featured interview on Jeffsetter.
I understand that you may not be interested in this type of request (or even be allowed to be interviewed), so I will not be offended if you want to decline. You just have so many interesting things to say that it would be very exciting for my readers to hear your story!
Travel Questions for you, Mark Cuban
- In the show Entourage you are portrayed as flying around in a private plane and making business deals (like Avion tequila). Is your Guinness Record winning Gulf-stream V jet how you regularly travel?
- If you answered yes to #1 above, does that impact your relationship with American Airlines, who have the naming rights to the arena where the Mavs play?
- You have invested in what appears to be hundreds of businesses. With so many investments on your plate, face to face meetings must be difficult. How much of your time is spent on the road?
- When you need to get away from it all, where do you go? Do you prefer tropical vacations or sight seeing?
- Have you visited many countries or does your schedule as an investor prevent you from leaving the country?
- Are there any modern conveniences that you don’t have while you are up in the air?
- Your Mavericks teams often feature a very diverse bunch of basketball players from all of the world. Have you ever volunteered to scout a basketball talent just to say you visited their home country?
Feel free to respond via comments on this page or email jeff at jeffsetter dot com.
Thanks, Mark, for continuing to inspire people to follow their dreams (and for reading this far).
Great questions and cool new column! I hope you hear back from him
