If you’ve never heard of the ALOHA Collection before, they’re a bag company founded by two women from Hawai’i with a passion for travel and the desire to create a functional yet gorgeous type of bag that works well with the island lifestyle. I actually own several, as they really are versatile bags. I use one to carry my lunch to work and the others for errands or beach days. Their waterproof design makes them perfect for the beach but also makes them incredibly easy to clean, even when you have spills.
Beyond their functionality, ALOHA Collection bags feature fantastic designs. Two of the three in my collection were designed by one of my favorite aloha shirt makers, Sig Zane Design. It’s no wonder that the ALOHA Collection has grown as much as it has in the past decade. Everyone I know who has them loves them. But, of course, that’s not what this post is about. So we know that you can win HawaiianMiles and a Turtle Bay stay if you win the ALOHA Collection’s Dream Vacation Giveaway. However, the overall prize is more than that. Specifically, one grand prize winner will receive:
- 3-night stay in an Ocean View Room at the Turtle Bay Resort
- 60,000 HawaiianMiles
- 60-minute Coconut Pohaku massage for two at Nalu Spa
- $250 gift card for LSPACE (swimwear)
- ALOHA Collection bundle featuring pieces from their original splash-proof line, their new Light Nylon Collection, and a robe
It’s worth noting that while the contest bills the 60,000 HawaiianMiles as enough for two roundtrip tickets from the West Coast to Hawai’i, award fares for these types of flights are actually 35,000 miles roundtrip for Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard cardholders and 40,000 miles for general HawaiianMiles members. Not that I’d complain about receiving those many miles for free, but it’s worth being aware of.
Also, as previously covered on this blog, the Turtle Bay Resort is in the process of being sold to Host Hotels & Resorts, which plans to reflag the property as a Ritz-Carlton. This should have no impact on your stay, though you will need to ensure that, should you win, you plan to have your stay by June 30, 2025, as that is when the hotel credits will expire.
How to Enter
If you want to win HawaiianMiles and a Turtle Bay stay, entering couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is fill out a short form at aloha-collection.com. That’s it! No social media tie-in whatsoever. Just be sure you enter by June 30, 2024, as that is when the entry period ends. Also, be sure to keep a close eye on your email, including your junk box, in early July, as you’ll be notified by email and only have two days to respond before you automatically forfeit.
Final Thoughts
Though the odds of winning are probably hilariously low, I’m going to give it a shot! 60,000 HawaiianMiles are 60,000 HawaiianMiles (which will likely become Alaska Mileage Plan miles), while I’d love a few free nights at Turtle Bay Resort to see how things have changed since my last visit. This will be doubly true when they make their transition to a Ritz-Carlton.
